Over my years of exploring the region of the Southern Appalachians I have accumulated a diverse library of excellent books. Here are a few of the outstanding ones that I highly recommend if you desire to know more about this area. The ones at the top of the list are more specific to this area. Almost all of these are available from Amazon.
